For contractors who build great people
Developing the next generation of skilled-trades leaders.
Prepared, coachable talent for contractors committed to building great people.
Trade schools teach the trade. KCA prepares graduates for successful careers.
For contractors
Your next great employee needs more than technical training.
KCA prepares trade-school graduates in reliability, communication, professionalism, and ownership — then connects them with contractors ready to develop them.
Prepared candidates
Candidates selected for technical achievement, character, coachability, communication, and professional readiness.
Reduced hiring uncertainty
A more intentional connection between qualified graduates and vetted employers.
Continued retention support
Structured follow-up that continues after the first day on the job.
The KCA model
Recruit. Develop. Connect. Mentor.
One four-week program, four lasting commitments.

The missing bridge
Technical training is only the beginning.
Graduates often enter the workforce with solid technical training but without the communication, ownership, professionalism, and career direction the job actually requires. Contractors need dependable talent, and most want to develop it — they simply lack the time and the systems to do it well.
- CommunicationSpeaking clearly with supervisors, crews, and customers.
- ReliabilityShowing up prepared, on time, and ready to work.
- OwnershipTaking responsibility for the task, the outcome, and the correction.
- ProfessionalismConducting yourself the way a job site and a customer require.
- Career directionKnowing what the next step is and what it takes to earn it.
KCA bridges the last mile between graduation and a lasting career.
Develop
Four focused weeks that build on technical training.
KCA does not teach the trade. Trade schools already do that work well, and the four-week program starts where their instruction leaves off — building the professional foundation a graduate needs to be hired, retained, and prepared to advance.

Who KCA serves
Two groups, one outcome.
KCA brings together two groups with one shared goal: prepared tradespeople building lasting careers with contractors committed to developing them. The program is designed to serve both, and it only works when both are served well.
For participants
A career path, not just a job.
Trade-school graduates and early-career tradespeople who want to build something lasting — and are willing to be coached to get there.
- Four weeks of professional and leadership development
- Introductions to vetted contractors who are hiring
- Mentorship that continues past the first day on the job
For contractors
Prepared people, ready to develop.
Ethical, safety-focused specialty contractors — electrical, HVAC, plumbing, solar, roofing, mechanical, fire protection, low-voltage, and industrial service — committed to developing great people.
- Entry-level candidates screened for character and coachability
- Candidates prepared for your expectations before day one
- Structured follow-up through the first year on the job
For trade schools
Trade schools are essential partners, not competitors. KCA refers, prepares, and places the graduates they train — and shares what happens next, so placement outcomes belong to both of us.
Development Focus
Skill makes a tradesperson. Character keeps one.
Character and ownership
Taking responsibility for the work, the outcome, and the people around you. Character is the foundation of craftsmanship, not a soft addition to it.
Communication and professionalism
Speaking clearly with supervisors, crews, and customers, and carrying yourself the way a job site, a license, and a customer require.
Leadership and career development
Interview preparation, employer expectations, and the direction it takes to move from a first hire toward foreman, superintendent, and beyond.
Purpose-driven work
KCA's faith-rooted approach encourages tradespeople to see excellent work, service, and mentorship as part of a larger calling.
Built for long-term success
The placement is the start of the relationship.
KCA's involvement does not end when a graduate is introduced to an employer. Structured follow-up, employer feedback, and ongoing mentorship continue through the first year on the job — so problems get solved early and progress is recognized.
Early check-in with the graduate and the supervisor.
Employer feedback on performance, habits, and fit.
Mentorship on growth, responsibility, and next steps.
Retention review and the path toward advancement.
Success is a career, not a headcount. KCA measures itself by quality placements, retention, advancement, and lasting careers — not by how many people enrolled or how many placements were made.
